These are a flock of free ranged chickens I once had and I so enjoyed watching their daily routines. Once in while the boys argued over the girls but that was pretty rare.
I wanted to capture the movement of these roosters, so by using a painting knife, I was able to create a more impressionist style that does that and keep my focus on texture and the bright colors rather than detail.
